 About Me

Aloha everyone! I’m Alexandra Nicole Bumanglag, the Vice President of Leadership for the Phi Theta Kappa Beta: Chi Omega chapter. I was born in the Philippines but later moved to O’ahu, Hawai’i when I was 3-years-old. I am currently a Senior at Waipahu High School in the Academy of Health and Sciences and am part-taking in the Medical Assistant program in partnership with Hawai’i Pacific Health. When I was a rising freshman, I took my first early college class and have been taking classes since in order to obtain my Associates's degree in Liberal Arts, which I will be finishing this December. Throughout my academic journey, I have learned the values of hard work and leadership and have grown in terms of mindset and social networking. As someone who has fulfilled commitment to the honor society, I hope to bring out the best from my fellow members and community in order to be the best leaders for generations ahead.

Extracurricular Activities

Student Council, Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA), Phi Theta Kappa Beta Chi Omega, VP Leadership, Crew Member at Jersey Mike’s

Although I am not solid on a certain occupation, I wish to help care for kids in the future.

 About Me

My name is Alyssa Mae Mendoza and I am the Vice President of Fundraising for the 2020-2021 Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society: Beta Chi Omega Chapter. I am currently a senior at Waipahu High School. I have been a part of PTK since my sophomore year of high school. Some of my duties as VP of Fundraising is to implement fundraising ideas, coordinate fundraising events, and keep track of financial records. This is the reason why I chose to become a PTK officer. For this school year, I hope that I’ll be able to bond with the PTK members and encourage them all to participate in fundraising. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for our PTK chapter this school year.

In the future, I aspire to attend the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa, Chaminade University, or Hawai’i Pacific University to get my Bachelor of Science in Nursing and become a Labor and Delivery Nurse.
